Description

At the age of 8 he began to study guitar with the professor José Medina. He continues his flamenco guitar studies with Ernesto Fenollosa “El Chufa” (a great Valencian Maestro), and with the guitarist Paco Briones. He estudies music at the “Santa Cecilia de Sedaví” musical group and at the Catarroja Conservatory in Valencia. 

At the age of 9 he went on stage for the first time guided by his father Juan "El Minero" his teacher both in life and in flamenco. 

At the age of 14 he began accompanying singing and dancing in the tablaos with his maestro Ernesto Fenollosa “El Chufa”. At the age of 17, he became part of the Rociero group “Cantores de Sur”, with two recordings. Specializing in singing and dancing accompaniment, he has participated in several more recording works, with professional flamenco singers and also with artists of other musical styles that include a flamenco guitar in some of their songs such as the groups: Inhumanos, Cúrcuma... and the singers Yaco Lara and José Valondo. 

He has worked with jazz musicians such as the guitarist Miquel Casanay, the flutist David Casanay, the bassist Nacho Tamarit or the drummer Roberto Moreno. He has accompanied singers such as: José Galán, Manuel Cuevas, Javier Calderón, "Niño de Aurora", Antonio "El Malagueño", "El Cabrero de la Mancha", Armando Milla, Emilio de Villar, and copla singers such as: Alejandro Conde and Sánchez Molina (artists for whom he is a regular guitarist). He worked at the Off Sound Producciones studio as flamenco guitarist, and with “Cantores del sur” as singer. He has played with such important figures as: Diego Clavel, Antonio Carrión, José Galán Manuel Cuevas, "El Cabrero", Rosario, Romeros de la Puebla, Ecos del Rocío, Luis "El Polaco", "Niño de Olivares", "Niño from Elche” or Esther Merino. 

He has collaborated as a guitarist in the courses given in Valencia by the bailaora Milagros Megibar, José Huertas, Paco Belber, Jesús Aguilera and Manuel Serena, among others. 

He has participated in several editions of the International Festival of Cante de las Minas 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 in the modality of solo guitar. In 2010 he accompanied the flamenco flutist Óscar de Manuel on guitar in the “Flamenco Instrumentalists” modality of the Las Minas International Singing Festival where they won second prize. 

He has been selected for the National Flamenco Guitar Contest "Ciutat de L'Hospitalet" 2007 and 2009. 

He was solo guitar in the work “Palindromía Flamenca” with the Santa Cecilia de Sedaví Musical Group (his hometown). 

He has performed at the Kultureklenne de Alhot, in Dusseldorf (Germany) in March 2009 and in June of the same year in Gelsenkirchen at the “Festival Flamenco España” accompanying his good friend, the singer Paco de los Reyes, with whom he is completing a common recording project together with the producer and percussionist Alfonso Kreefeld, which will have the title "Desafío"

He has worked in Germany, France, Luxembourg, Sweden, Italy, China and Norway, in various performances and tours as a guitarist in dance companies and as a solo guitarist in concerts.

He worked for 6 years as a specialist dance accompaniment teacher at the Superior Dance Conservatory of Valencia. 

He is also part of the “Ballet Español de Julia Grecos” as accompanist guitarist, with whom he toured China in September 2013, participating in "The Ninth China International Folk Arts Festival Yichang". 

He has performed with this company at the Talía theatre, the “Palau de la Música”, the Rialto theatre and the “Palacio de Congresos” in Valencia… among others. 

Composer and performer of the music for the play "Obligaciones" by the Toni Aparisi company, premiered in May 2014 at the Ruzafa theatre and at the Leioa fair (Bilbao). Work awarded by the public of “Teatres de la Comunitat Valenciana” as "Best dance show of the 2014 season" and best musical composition. 

He was guitar soloist at the Hilmarfestivalen in Streikjen (Norway) 2017. 

He is director and teacher of "Al Toque", a flamenco guitar academy, the only school of this specialty in the Valencian Community.
