Description

Javier Conde began his guitar studies at four years old with his father, also a guitarist, José Antonio Conde. Later he received classes from maestro Andrés Batista and participated in a course by Gerardo Nuñez, with whom he collaborated in the shows "Retrospectiva" in 2007 and "Sabicas" in 2008. He also participated in the Córdoba Guitar Festival with Manolo Sanlúcar in 2008. In 2011 he made several recordings under supervised by Maestro Sanlúcar. 

Concerts:

At seven years old he offered his first recital in Cáceres performing various works. Two years later he works with Manolo Sanlúcar and the bailaor Manolete. From then on he began to give concerts both in Spain and in many foreign countries in Europe, the US, Latin America, Africa and Asia. 

He has participated in concerts with artists such as: Víctor Monge "Serranito", Manolo Sanlúcar, Rafael Riqueni, Gerardo Núñez, Marina Heredia, Enrique de Melchor, La Paquera de Jerez, Meneses, Enrique Morente, Lebrijano, José Mercé, El Pele, Carmen Cortés, Eliadades Ochoa, Amparo Sánchez and John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin. 

In 2015 he participated in "Flamenco India", the work of filmmaker Carlos Saura.
 

Prizes and contests:


At just fifteen years old, Javier was awarded the prestigious 'Bordón Minero' award in 2004. 

He has also won the following awards:

• 1999: Youngest finalist in the history of the “Festival del Cante de las Minas” (Murcia)

• 2000: “Special Prize and Honorable Mention” at the X Puente Genil International Flamenco Guitar Competition (Córdoba)

• 2001: first prize “Paco de Lucena”' in Lucena (Córdoba)

• 2002: first prize in the II Contest “Ateneo de Córdoba”

• 2003: first prize at the VI International Flamenco Guitar Contest in Jaén

• 2004: first prize at the XXIV National Flamenco Guitar Competition “Torre del Cante” in Alhaurín de la Torre (Málaga)

• 2012: National Flamenco Critics Award “Miguel Acal”

• 2014: “Andalusian and flamenco themes”, 20 compositions (music, numbers and CD) by the soloist and composer Andrés Batista

He has collaborated on numerous recordings by artists such as Manolo Sanlúcar, etc. 

He has a degree in Flamenco Guitar from the “Rafael Orozco” Superior Conservatory of Music in Córdoba and is currently a flamenco guitar teacher at the “Robert Schumann” Superior Conservatory of Music in Dusseldorf (Germany).
